Our client base consists of a diverse range of accumulators, early and pre-retirees, and surviving spouses, each requiring individual attention in very unique ways.
Our clients in the accumulation phase of life are generally in their 30s and 40s. These clients tend to be saving for long-term financial goals such as their children’s education and their retirement. They are often unsure of how much to save, which investment vehicles to use and how funds should be allocated between multiple goals. Life Insurance, disability insurance and estate planning tend to be some areas that have never been formally reviewed.
Our early and pre retirees tend to be approaching retirement or have just recently retired. They are often overwhelmed with the financial decisions they now face, such as; when can they retire, what income will they live on during retirement, do they need to update their Estate Planning Documents, do they still need life insurance and is long term care insurance necessary. They have often been “sold” financial products but have been given little, if any, real financial planning advice.
Clients that have recently lost a spouse make up another sector of our client base. These clients tend to be overwhelmed by the recent changes in their personal and financial lives. Some find themselves in charge of their finances for the first time in their lives.
